AARON KUPERMAN
Aaron Kuperman is the founder and co-managing partner of Hamilton Square Capital LLC. Mr. Kuperman is the head of underwriting and capital markets activity at HSC. There he uses his skill set and experience to analyze complex deals and unique borrower financing situations. Mr. Kuperman strives to create favorable funding solutions for HSC borrowers.
Background:
Before founding Hamilton Square Capital, Mr. Kuperman was the chief investment officer and founder of Kalev Capital LLC, a special situation hedge fund. Prior to Kalev Capital, Mr. Kuperman was a partner at Amici Capital LLC, a $1.5+ billion multi-class investment fund where he worked for 14 years. As a hedge fund manager and partner, Mr. Kuperman was responsible for investing across multiple assets classes including special situations investments, stressed equities, CDS, distressed debt and RMBS securities. Mr. Kuperman began his career working in investment banking in the Mergers & Acquisitions group of UBS Warburg in 1999. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Business Administration (now known as the Stephen M. Ross School of Business), where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
ASAF JACOBI
Asaf Jacobi is the founder and co-managing partner of Hamilton Square Capital LLC. Mr. Jacobi is the head of business development and marketing at HSC. He is a passionate people person and at HSC he spends his time connecting with clients to understand and solve their financing needs. He is focused on helping borrowers grow their businesses while building long term partnerships.
Background:
Mr. Jacobi has an extensive operations management background including business development and turn-arounds, P+L management and growth strategy execution. He is the founder or AA RE LLC, a real estate development company specializing in the development of new single-family residential housing. He is a certified attorney in Israel specializing in real estate law. Mr. Jacobi has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College where he majored in finance. He also has a LL.B in Law from the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya, Israel. Mr. Jacobi served in both special rescue units and combat units of the Israeli Defense Force (IDF).
